Definite pen but probably looked on the edge from the refs point of view

Clear pen the first time i saw it from that angle. Difficult from behind the play though i imagine
 
I don't think the Hull player helps himself by landing straddling the line, difficult one for Friend from his angle.
 
Free kick is potentially correct. The trip is on the right leg, which is actually in the D which is where he is heading at the point of contact. Super-slo-mo and freeze frame at 00:33 - 00:34.
 
Just checked it out, it's on the line or inside. On the line is a penalty.

Happy to point to the spot with that one.

You mean it is not a penalty? Holy ...... The circled ball has no importance here. You only look at where the contact occurred. If we have this kind of referees here, it is an embarrassment. You want to bring an argument out of nothing. It is a shame.
