Orange Card?

Was at a referee event tonight with CFA, with Anthony Taylor there. He said he doesn't know if it will work. The RDM, is refereeing a U16 UEFA tournament on Friday at St. Georges Park, where this is being trialled. Questions were asked that would it be an easy way out of giving an 'easy/cheap' red card instead. I don't like the idea

It was never a problem for me reffing rugby matches where I've had to caution a player thus 'sin-binning' him for ten. Even at grass-roots level with club assistants, if at all. There was never any bin as such, just the player had to spend ten minutes off the pitch thinking about his discretions. Although that was rugby where there is still respect for the officials!
