I don't tend to take my toys to games as I don't share and I don't play well with others ... allegedly. I understand why @mikedn did what he did and perhaps in the heat of the moment others may have reacted the same way. Doesn't make it wrong though, not every time.

ohhh ok, I think their might have been confusion on my part. I thought you were talking to the spectator/sent off player etc and not the manager/club official.

The point of this is to never deal with the problem person yourself. It is the responsibility of the home club for spectators & each club for their own officials. Speak with their "sensible" representative and get them to deal with it.

When you then have to carry out the threat of abandonment, your report can say they failed to deal with their responsibilities. That is what the CFA's want us to do.
