Getting the 2014 Nike kit to replace my current umbro selection (bit late I know)

I found in umbro I needed XL mostly because of length. Does this translate into L for Nike roughly?

I agree with what has been said above - Umbro tends to come out quite small relative to Nike, and so I'd go a size down transferring from Umbro to Nike (I went from Large to Medium and the size was perfect).
