Thats the thing one of the refs pre match was "your area of credibility is a semi circle in front of you" therefore i think the decision was just outside of that.
on the other hand there was the instruction that if you see something and you think there is a possibility i haven't seen it and you are 100% then come in with a flag.
at the time i thought the referee hadn't seen it. i had taken 5-6 breaths and there was no play on/ advantage signal given, he didn't appear to be moving his whistle towards his mouth. in his defence though he was practically on top of it but at the time for some reason i thought he hadn't seen it.
the thing is i was told take 5 breaths before deciding to flag or not, what i think i did instead of 5 slow breaths was 5 v.fast breaths which didn't give the ref enough time.
