I thought that 5A was old L5, 5b was L6 and 5c was L7. That's certainly how they originally proposed it.5a - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Cup Appointments)
5b - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Vase Appointments)
5c - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Youth Cup Appointments)
Does that mean because I have 4b & 4SAR only on my profile, no FA Cup then?5a - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Cup Appointments)
5b - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Vase Appointments)
5c - Level 5 (Eligible for FA Youth Cup Appointments)
No, if you're a 4 you'd automatically be eligible I believe.Does that mean because I have 4b & 4SAR only on my profile, no FA Cup then?
You would be eligible... Are you a specialist AR? Because usually this round is L4 with county referees on the line so as a 4SAR wouldn't be in the pool of ARs to be selected, I don't think.Does that mean because I have 4b & 4SAR only on my profile, no FA Cup then?
Yes, I'm a 4SAR. Thanks for the response on that, now it makes senseYou would be eligible... Are you a specialist AR? Because usually this round is L4 with county referees on the line so as a 4SAR wouldn't be in the pool of ARs to be selected, I don't think.
I'm in the same circumstances, my best guess is the 'SL' means 'Supply League'.I have just realised I have access to MOAS after being emailed about an appointment on a NCEL. My account says 40SL any ideas?
I'm a L5 (new)
This is MOAS, powered by The FA. Give it a couple of years!You whould think by now there would be a key on MOAS to define all of these roles.
Iirc, you have to actively join a supply league as an AR to get appointments, same as joining Step 7 feeder leagues.Not had an appointment yet on Supply League
Hi Gabriel, yes I don't think I was clear. I have recently joined a supply league as an AR and I believe that's the reason behind my FA Cup appointmentIirc, you have to actively join a supply league as an AR to get appointments, same as joining Step 7 feeder leagues.
Does anyone have a list of levels/codes that can be referenced?
Haha! Sounds about right! I'll stick it in the diary!No. The standard procedure is to come on Refchat in July and we all take turns to guess.
And I think 3E is assistant on National League PremierOk.. So after reading the "refereeing pyramid" sent yesterday.
3F = Assistant on Step 2 (e.g. National League north and south)
3A = Referee on Step 3/4 (e.g. Southern League)
4B = Assistant on Step 3/4
4A = Referee on Step 5/6 (e.g. Western League)
I have had codes 33 and 99 as well and I believe they are assistant on the Womens National League and Womens FA Cup.
