Looks like a good decision to me. Initially some mutual holding, attacker stops but defender doesn't and looks enough to impede the attacker's movement. If you're a defender holding in the penalty area then you are taking a big risk.
 
It's not necessarily wrong but I would have thought the easier sell would be no foul either way (mutual holding) although with that angle it is difficult to tell if the Milwall player was actually holding the Stoke player or if it was just the way he's moved his arms due to the contact from the Stoke player.
 
I watched it in real time, and now I've taken my black and white tinted glasses off (which agreed with the penalty as Stoke are a team we need to drop points), I think it's probably more mutual holding. But can see why it's given. There's a little more on the attacker for me which is in guessing what the referee has seen.

Also to note, a caution was given for surrounding the referee/dissent. Players were told to disperse I think at least 3 times, and still didn't get the message.
