Michael Owen is by far the worst commentator in my book.

His knowledge of the LOTG is appalling, and he's so monotone and boring as well.

Check out the video of today's Man Utd v Yeovil game, hardly DOGSO!

Owen is second worst, only beaten by Savage who is an idiot. :D
 
I would say that at times Savage talks a lot of sense, it just doesn't happen often. I like him though, makes me laugh

Couldn't believe my ears. Had to record it on my phone but struggling to upload ATM.
 
He did it again with a later incident too - "He was the last man as well".
Both times I was thinking that this guy is a complete idiot
 
So glad you said this - was all I could do to stop myself slapping the TV when I heard him! When professional ex-players don't understand the basics it's no wonder my Saturday afternoon regulars don't have a clue...
 
Poor commentators and pundits are the exact reason why referees get so much abuse. Their knowledge of the LOTG is dreadful yet players seem to think that they're correct which causes outrage by those players on a saturday/sunday. Give them all a LOTG workshop - fast!!
 
Not sure I agree there @HarryD .

Would we really want 22 players on the pitch thinking they're all 'experts' because they've been on one course?
 
I didn't mean the players - I meant the pundits, I agree that players on the course would be horrific for us refs!:P
