The Ref Stop

Merthyr v Walton & Hersham

The Ref Stop
The ban has been overturned 🤷‍♂️
Not surprised, but equally I don't think it proves that the referee was wrong. The individuals on these panels are not always people with in-depth knowledge of the LotG, or experience of refereeing. And the way wrongful dismissal claims work, no further evidence 'in favour' of the red card (e.g. evidence of the consequences of the tackle, like the photo of the broken shinpad) would be sought - it's merely down to the player's club to supply evidence as to why they believe it wasn't a red.

What on earth is being debated here. Still images and broken shinpad are irrelevant
I can see what the Referee thought he saw, but he didn't see it because IT did not happen. The Referee is this week's internet sensation because he's made a very obvious mistake, one which we all guard against every week. I can understand (& empathize with) the Referee's mistake, but anyone on here debating he got it right needs certifying!

You really need to start telling us how you really feel ;)

"My opinion is the truth, and anyone who disagrees is mentally ill" 🥱🥱🥱
