Had my proper first game as an AR for Open Age it was league semi final. Game went well, others referee were great, players treated me like a referee. Will be starting to properly referee Open Age next season in the middle. Told the Open Age Coordinator for my league about it several months ago. I am now registered to that league. Unfortunately can't start this season as this weekend will mark the end of my season for personal reasons.
However if we compare this to the start of my season where I was contemplating quitting refereeing I wasn't doing barely any fixtures, it has been a massive change. Because of the support of this community and building up my confidence doing Youth Football my wish to continue refereeing has comeback. I would like to thank everyone for their helpful advice and tips. And maybe just maybe in the near future I will go for promotion to level 6.
