Levels: Pyramid vs Referees

Hi

I'm about to become a level 9 ref, and was just wondering what standard I can ref?

I'm under the impression the level 9 and 7 are the same, accept the assessment. So once I'm a level 7 referee am I able to ref at level 11 - 13 of the football pyramid? or is this two high?

Also, what do you class as a 'supply league'? are these even on the pyramid?

if someone could give me some guidance then this would be great.

Can not wait btw!

Hi Pal,
This is mainly in West Yorkshire
Level 9 your mainly talking youth and local football i.e up to level 14. Basically your local open age league.
Level 7 you can referee up to West Yorkshire League division1 http://full-time.thefa.com/ProcessP...electedCompetition=0&psSelectedLeague=7516712
Supply league in West Yorkshire is West Yorkshire Premier League and NCEL division 1.
You will be able to Assist at level 7 on West yorkshire premier league however to my knowledge you have to be at least a level 6 to assist on the NCEL division 1. http://full-time.thefa.com/ProcessP...electedCompetition=0&psSelectedLeague=7516712

You will only be able to referee on West Yorkshire Prem from level 4.

Where about's are you located in WRCFA? There is the http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?league=7166491 Nothern u19 league which you can assist on at level's 7 and 6 and referee on at level 5 and above, to my knowledge the league may be expanding next season so you would expect they would need more refs.

Anything else you need let me know.

If you can I would highly recommend getting on the WYAFL prem and Northern u19 (both as assistant) (especially on u19 league as you go to stadia that you normally wouldn't get until NCEL prem and EVO stik) as you learn so much working with higher level referees and it helps when going for promotion.

Hi Arran

Cheers for this, im just looking to get as much done as work allows, but with it still being at a decent standard, so thanks for this.

I passed my basic refs course this evening so just raring to go now, but have a few contacts and a few ideas to go roaming at

Cheers
