Level 8 to 7

I was just wondering, when I turn 16, do I have to do another referee assessment or course of some sort to be classed as a level 7 ref. I know I have to get my CRB check and stuff but is just a simple switch from reffing younger ages to being able to ref older (not that I was going to jump straight into it)?

In England, it's an automatic change on yiur birthday, subject to DBS clearance. At 16 you can referee open age and/or youth football. Enjoy!
