You cant wear a national league badge until you are a 2b+ referee Or are assisting at step 1 from which points the kit is supplied with the relevant badges.
Same answer, you get given them when you get to that level.
What level are you?
Once you get to L4 you assist on step 3/4 which is not national league N/S unless you specialise AR and get promoted as an AR.
As a L3 you aren't supplied Kit, so my guess is the referee had enough kit to share here.
Once you get to 2b or step 1 assistant, the FA, not the league, supply the kit and relevant badges.
Looking at the pic again I am certain I am correct. Note the referee not wearing the FAMOA badge and the two ARs are, so the ref must have surplus of sticky badges that would be returned to referee, post match.
Not sure if it is still the same, but when you got to National League Premier as an AR (but not North / South) you were sent a league badge and expected to wear it on their games.
Yes, once you get to step 1 AR all the kit is supplied. Training wear, match kit and of course badges.
Step 2, same as before, bring your own gear.
Better than it was then, used to be you just got a badge, no kit.
Been that way a while I think. They are least get something because you know the L3s that are step 1 ars as they have EA branded everything.
Might be wrong but that is my understanding.
