Yep, I'd have been rapidly backing away there. Been clattered like that before and it isn't pleasant, both in terms of pain and humiliation.

There’s a couple of things here:
Always take evasive action
Don’t ball watch
AR gets sucked in to watching the ball here and pays the price. Does my nut when an AR turns away from players to watch the ball as it harmlessly goes out so they can flag just after it crossed the line. Nooooo!

A couple of 16 year olds manage to break a bone in my foot while I was watching my son at a tournament, quite a few moons ago now.
Pitches close together, these two players come flying off the pitch, next thing I know I'm on the floor and when I got up it was incredibly painful to walk. Stayed that way for weeks I remember despite barely being able to see the break on the x ray!
