Simple question really - is a shove in the face always a red card? Gave it today - my above the neck policy - but I'm uneasy about I - he did it twice but no real force. There is context but that's a separate report and don't want it posted on open forum.

Touching another's face with your hands is a very provative act and the contact would have to be very light for me not to RC.
Was there as much force as Drogba in the ECL final in 2008? Cos that is a RC all day long

If he did it twice, he asked for trouble and the ensuing red card.

Once with no force and favourable match conditions I might overlook. Twice - off you go.
