I have my first online module for promotion tonight to attend for 6-5. Has anyone attend one of these yet ?

The Ref Stop
Did the 5-4 one a few weeks ago - basically a short lecture-style presentation, followed by a few video clips and discussion around those clips. Discussion was via the presenter picking a name off the list and asking that person to unmute themselves, describe the incident and discuss what the referee did well/badly. We had a few hundred people I think, so the majority weren't called on and were just required to watch and listen.

I think the 5-4 is ran by FA (or it.was in the day of physical attendance) but I don't imagine the format to be worlds away from as you describe, but expect it to be CFA run and a lot lower numbers.

The actual online modules are not ready yet. What they're doing instead is delivering a classroom-style online presentation with videos and questions and discussions.

Only a few counties have agreed to do this so far because it's quite a lot of extra work for the RDO. A number of candidates have been promoted without having done any "online modules".

In other news all the 5a, 5b and 5c levels have reverted back to 7, 6, 5 in WGS 🤣
