Quick summary table clash in county league 2 red cards 4 yellows. 4-3at the end so the game was 2-2 until 55 minute away team make it 3-2 right after that they waste so much time with goal kicks even kick the ball as far as they can for throw ins I counted almost 45 second in goal kicks so just with 10 goal kicks in 5 minutes already. There was so many injuries a penalty subs etc so extra time on my second watch shows 16+ so we kept playing they shout couple time ref time is done etc but I got 2 separate watched and go with my extra time so it made 3-3 then in last 3 minutes home team make 4-3 a during celebration one home player get send off so time flies but hold my second watch again cause it’s delaying the restarts then the game finish players wre happy. Manager come to me and say I’m the worst referee on this country and he was in football for 30 years then he said all decision and card are correct penalties and everything but he said time was wring and he will report me I told him if you say my game maganament and decisions are perfect don’t blame for the watch job and I showed him my watch to let him see the extra time etc and he said I don’t know the laws I can just stop the time for goal kick and I told him no it’s not the law. It was almost 17 minute in extra time 😂

17 minutes is a lot, but manager shouldn’t confront you.
Did he come onto the pitch to confront you? If he did, that’s a red card there.

Sounds like you had an eventful match! I quite enjoy them.
 
How many players did you caution. For delaying the restart?

"even kick the ball as far as they can for throw-ins"

This is a normal part of football.

No need to caution ball still in play they kick it as hard as they can and don’t have backup ball so waiting starts

Yes it is but referee is well withing his/her rights and well justified to add time. It can't be delaying the restart caution if the action is when the ball is in play.

While not necessary, having done so (for things other than kicking the ball out while in play) would have justified and sold 17min added much better. I have seen televised games often with 10+min added time with no DR cautions.

@cancan, two points from me to possibly consider to make game management easier.
- Be forthcoming in terms of information and communication for added time especially if it is an unusually long added time.
- Don't get into a discussion with the manager after the game if he is there to argue with you, and 99 out of 100 times you would know this as soon as they approached you.

I am also with @Ori, sounds like a red card for the manager if he said those things in a confrontational manner.

Thanks for all advice I didn’t give any caution for delaying the restart what I mean the situations in throw ins is you are in big park ball coming from air smash it so we have to wait for the ball this is not cautionable also players was happy I always show them my watch for clarification I just didn’t expect having threats to report because time keeping I’m a referee that very sensitive about wasting time especially if it’s a tight game
