Quick reaction and very brave to get his head to the ball....and how liverpool needed all three points.

but, the fact that he ended up with a cut on the top of his head, caused by the defenders' studs clearly indicates that Johnson was playing in a dangerous manner

Not a chance. The ball was knee high. Johnson had to do a diving header to reach, likewise with the defender and his foot.

I'm with Dan though, not a chance. Just very brave play from Johnson.

lol I am a liverpool fan, so may be a little biased, but that is a great goal. Ball was there to be won.

You would need a police escort out of Liverpool if you were to give playing in a dangerous manner for that one Haywain! And of course, that is the most heart Glen Johnson has shown in many years.
