Just watching the Gazza series on iplayer, never gave it any thought until now so, his tackle which ruled him out of any potential final is horrendous and hopefully would be a red card today
That aside, cant help thinking if karma is a real thing, his boot stretch miss at the back post in the euros semi v Germany in 96 could well have been payback for his outrageous tackle in the FA Culp final a few years before. Watching it over and over again it blows Keanes on Haaland out the water as Keanes was always a violent kick and retribution, Gazas was in his head, an attempt to tackle.
