So Didier, your final game is this bronze medal match. How are you feeling?

Concede, Konsa.

I get this is a "weaker" French defence compared to their line ups in other games but in theory you could argue this is a weaker attack if using same criteria..

But this is how we should have defended v Argentina.
They piled forward and we sat back then.
France are now doing the same and we now attack with pace.

For all the running that Saka and Rashford did first half it wouldn’t have happened or worked versus Argentina. They’d have been fouled, pulled or hacked down working five strides.

Like comparing apples with oranges. Good game though.

Not sure a third place play-of hat-trick is redemption for that miss, all a bit after the lord mayors show.

Surprising how strong the French support is comparatively, presumably the neutrals supporting France due to Mbappe

Given what he went through, I disagree.

It’s a pressure kick, against an elite side and in hindsight with the 10 goals scored was vital. It’s about pushing back at racists who showed their lack of class and humanity.

Daft game. Like watching basketball
When Rashford went through in the first half following a French CK, the deepest French defender was 20 yards in the opposition half
We knew France could score for fun. The game showed the English can too, but it nearly backfired in spectacular fashion because I can't see how Tuchel could've survived the loss of a four goal lead after the Argentine debacle. Nobody really talking about what very nearly happened

I'll be honest. It was how football should be played imo. 1 team trying to outscore the other. Pure entertainment.
