I've always been told not to bother as you can't really pitch or tone it very well.

It's a very easy whistle to use when you get used to it.

I tried the Sonik blast and just couldn't get on with it. Strange as it is, it just didn't feel right in my hand compared to the Classic.

I'm now using the Classic Eclipse and like it.

Tip for anyone ordering a valkeen make sure it's the ra0030-ks and not ra0030-k the one I ordered with no finger grips

Is that the only difference? Ive seen the RA0030-K *with* finger grips... Is the 'KS' a better/difference whistle?

The ra0030-ks is the one with finger grips

And yes They are both the same whistle,

IMO and I own one they are not worth the money, buy a sonik blast just as good and loud for £6

I have a Acme Thunderer or Tornado I think... Really wide, but has the finger grips and I really like it.

Cant really go into a shop and play with a RA0030-KS... Although I dont think you can go into any shop and start slobbering their whistles

One of my mates uses a" Fat Controller " 1950 s whistle thing , he still gets respect
