First game, first red (of the season)!

So after a long wait, we reach the first open age game of the season!

Local game between two new teams, 44th minute:
. Goalkeeper long kick out of his hands
. Bit of shirt tugging from one of the two midfielders to win the header
. Award the free kick
. SMACK - The great big midfielder elbowed the short little skipper straight in the nose, knocking him down with a broken nose
. Cue the mass confrontation
. Manage to gain back control of the situation quickly, the offender walks, straight red! Bye Bye!

Why? Absolutely no need for it? The game hadn't been feisty, came from nowhere and he won the free kick anyway? Please tell me this is a rare thing to happen in open age?

Some players don't know how to behave. Chances are he gets away with this 9/10. Good spot

Yes bloody good spot sometimes it change from a normal game to mass con in seconds so always be aware

I thought that Ross had banned it, wholesale, that's all

Not that I ever minded either way, well rounded individual that I am

Still, at least he appears to have his shirt tucked in in his photo ;)

and yes I'm noticing it a lot, especially in league one & two of the FL, elbows are flying in first!

I've never been picked up on it.

The problem I have is mostly my height like herts. Shirt tucked in, I signal with my arms, the shirt comes loose.... Easier to just have it loose.

It is a lot better, worn it once and didn't have the same problem. That reminds me I should get a selfie done for the selfie thread...
