First game in this comp for me on Sunday. What are people’s thoughts on this competition?

The best Sunday league teams in the country, and once you get towards the later stages there are a huge number of semi-pro players playing. Only clubs in the top division of their league can enter, and few choose to as travel can be extensive and there are strict ground grading requirements. You might get away with a roped off pitch for the first two rounds, but after that it needs to be a pitch with turnstiles and a permanently fenced off pitch so can get very expensive.
I was involved in a quarter-final a few years ago and there was a huge crowd. From a match official can be a challenge as you have to be there 90 minutes before, and for Sunday league teams that inevitably means you will be there a long time before the players or anyone from either club.
