This stuff is still going on in sport. I've been on both football and rugby safeguarding training and heard stories from recent events of coaches in high performance academies and premiership academies of coaches who get compliance from players through the threat of losing their dream if they say anything. It's still going on and we must all be vigilant. Even that coach who bellows from the touchline could be an early indicator.

It is strangely true though in all of the cases mentioned so far, all the persons involved would have initially passed all of the CRB tests that get carried out today and been free to still carry out their heinous crimes. Its not until they get caught that they would have been stopped. To even think that the problem is behind us and totally stopped since after 2003 is pretty laughable...
