NDSL suspends games as abuse of referees escalates

The North Dublin Schoolboys/Schoolgirls Soccer League [NDSL] has suspended all matches this weekend over concerns about constant, and worsening, abuse being suffered by referees.

The statement from the league says a lot. Over 2000 kids and the only major amateur adult female soccer league affected.

There was talk that clubs would postpone games when it takes place, then rearrange them for when refs are back.

Hope that doesn't happen, or the authorities stamp down on any that do!

I think they have cancelled the games. Withdrawn refs and said without refs you can't play...

Well the fixtures are set, cancelled or postponed by the league, no clubs can come to any such arrangement among themselves
