The Ref Stop
1 and 2 are the starting points for me typically. Simply based on experience, that second half stoppages tend to be longer than first half. Substitutions, fatigue etc all hit in the second period.
Same for me unless it is a heavy score line in which case I blow as the watches ticks onto 90. Had a 24-0 a few weeks back, the losing team wanted me to blow after an hour!!
 
I have the spintso and a cheap Casio watch and I stop the spintso and use that mainly for everything and I just keep my Casio watch going
