Couple of interesting incidents last night as Derby lost 3-2 to bottom of the table Luton Town.

They scored an own goal in the 86th minute to go 3-2 behind, then a minute later the referee adjudged one of the Derby players to have made a deliberate backpass that the GK picked up, giving an IFK inside the Derby 18 yard box.
As the referee was cautioning a Derby player for protesting, Max Lowe came up to the referee and grabbed his arm, earning himself a straight red.

Reaction of Andre Wisdom was telling

The Referee Store
No foul for me. Keeper was very close to a double yellow or straight red too. The angry throwing of the ball and then run up 30 yard with his head almost touching the referee's face. In fact it looked like a double yellow as he lowered the card and then showed it again.

I think the calm manner in showing the cards was out oth the text book.
