Concentration and focus

In my first few games, I've found that I'm forgetting what way the teams are shooting when signalling for throw ins etc which is a bit of a problem when I have to change my mind to give it the correct way. Also, at the end of one game, a manager asked me who I thought his MOTM was, and to be honest, I didn't have a clue. I was so focused on getting my own game right I didn't even appreciate the players skill.

Has anyone else had these problems or any tips?

don't worry about motm - you're not expected to know - unless you sent the number 8 off then you can at least say 'well it wasn't number 8'

as for signalling - you could always use the 'blue throw, red throw' calls from time to time, especially in the first few minutes of the second half

It comes with experience I found, I struggled at the start and now I don't have to think twice :)

I struggled when I first start and to be totally honest I still get my arm signals mixed up from time to time in the opening minutes of the second half... I always just talk to myself 'blues are shooting to my left' etc etc... I find it helps
