Coloured Refs Shirts

Are coloured refs shirts allowed at Grass roots levels? I know black is the preference but just was wondering. I have looked online and can’t find a definitive answer.

Does it depend on the CFA?

Usually depends on the CFA but I can name a few local youth teams that sometimes wear black or shades very close to it.

Our CFA sanctioned Yellow only from 2017/18 if NARs can’t wear yellow then default is black

Depends on CFA rules. Some allow, most don't.

It does indeed depend on each CFA, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying most don’t.

Basically, find out what applies for you so that you do t fall foul of it.
