College / Uni football

I'm (hopefully) off to Uni next year, and I was just wondering how you would get into refereeing college / uni fotball? Is there a national league?

I got asked by Nottingham Trent Uni to referee some of their games, so I'm guessing so

I was just given the opportunity to referee in the Atlantic University Sports' football championship (women's). It was a lot of fun and I managed to get a chance to be fourth official which, I might add, I was sterling at. I had all the coaches come up to me and thank me for dealing with them and calming them down as they felt the referee had a bad game and I managed to keep them calm enough so that they could stay on the sideline. It was a good deal of fun although I still prefer taking the line on Uni men.

I never knew that reffing could secure you the Uni's sports scholarship, despite the fact that your not planning on studying any sports related subjects
