Coach on, Player off, what age?

We've all been there, player goes down, coach has to come on, at what age do you think we should start to tell the injured player to go off until youre ready to call him on? If we did this at under 8s then itd be keeper vs keeper so what do we think?

All ages, for slightly different reasons. Older (13+) being that they know if or when they are ready to come back on, younger as you have their welfare to bear in mind.

PL academies take them off and on and off and on constantly.

End of the day you are responsible so what would the worst case be? So please explain why you let little Johnny play on and your experience in the field of paedeatrics / medicine that lead you to make that decision...
