Celebrating in opponents face

90th minute and team A is 2-1 up they go to the corner flag and the player from team A kicks it against the team B player and it goes out of play for a throw in to team A. Player from team A then shouts "come onn" in team B's player face towering over him obviously wanting a reaction. I call over the player from team A and tell him to calm down as I don't want this to escalate into a mass confrontation or something like that. Luckily there was no reaction from player B which I thanked him for later. Where do you stand on this?

Player A deserved a slap, Player B had more restraint than I'd have had.

I think you dealt with it well, caution definitely a consideration though if he goes too far or ignores your warning

Haha yea definitely! I don't know how he just laughed it off.

Definitely a case for a yellow card. He tried saying that it's passion and he's allowed to celebrate but definitely not by provoking your opponent. If he did it again I probably would have cautioned him.

That action is clearly unsporting (unsportsman like). And not cautioning here sends the wrong message.
Basically telling everyone had player B reacted, you would have would have cautioned player A.
