The Ref Stop

Cautioning

I used to have actual write-on cards but they were ****e in the rain so I went with the booklet.

The Ref Stop
How do you do reds? You can't write on the red card because it's unlikely they'll give you their name if they see the red. If you have team sheets then you can just look at their number as they go off, but at the lowest level what's the best way to do it?

Write in a book, show the red card

Not what I do though. As we get full team sheets, I show the red and note the number instead

I write the number and time in my book and show the red. Both of my reds this season have had yellow cards in the same game, so I already knew the player's name.
