How helpful it would be for us at grass roots level if a similar clampdown was instigated in the Uk especially in the premier league. There decision to allow industrial language to be used towards referees needs reversing, as everyone seeing close ups on TV can lip read what is being said. Players then think it is fine to dispute decisions and swear at refs on the basis of what they have seen.
How good would it be if we could raise standards and eliminate a lot of the boorish behaviour we are presented with most weeks/
