Spent most of the second half camped in one half of the pitch as it was difficult to get out against the winds!

Good game surprisingly, considering the conditions.

I had 2 games with weekend. Saturday morning was horrendous weather. Heavy rain almost the whole time. And a game on Sunday afternoon where there was not much rain but was incredible blustery. the ball looked for sure as if it was going out of play and then pulled a 180 turn and stayed in.
It was a fun weekend but the weather was hardly ideal for me

My game Saturday was one of the few left on down here.
Turned up to find a tree down behind the goal and bits of it scattered across one half.
A quick walk across with the home side and we soon had it cleared leaving a pretty decent playing surface and a aside from a few strong gusts, not too much wind either!

Enfield Council cancelled all football on their pitches at the weekend. I did a game in Regents Park on a pitch with an absolutely phenomenal grass surface given the circumstances. Don't think I've seen a grassroots pitch that good in weather so bad.

A record number of throw-ins going straight out of play again.
