Banned player seen playing..

Hi all - I have just seen thanks to the power of social media a known banned player, playing a friendly.

I have posted on here and was unfortunately assaulted by this player in November. He was then given a 1-year total ban effective from December 12th. So he should not be playing in any capacity.

There was a photographer at this game and their photos show him playing. Just wondered if anyone else has had this and what my course of action is, I presume it is to reply straight to the case officer at the FA and not county?

Take the belt and braces approach - inform the FA case officer of the facts, but copy in your County FA as they will wish to contact the club.

Not currently, although I can ask the FA disciplinary team for an update.

Update: Club and individual charged with playing while suspended, awaiting case(s) to be heard.

Final update.. hopefully! Result:

The cases have now been heard.
The player received an additional five-match suspension, which will be served once their current suspension has been completed.
The club was also fined a total of £140.

Looks like they got there in the end. Good that the suspensions aren't running concurrently, too.
