Astroturf ...

I had a very strange request this past weekend. I do quite a lot of matches on an astroturf pitch close to my home. It's an excellent facility enclosed by a high mesh fence. Th associated sports centre has decreed that the area within the fence should be a no smoking zone which is fair enough, This week the centre duty manager approached me before the game and asked if I could keep an eye out and stop anyone I saw smoking! I told him firmly that this was well outside my responsibility. What's the daftest additional responsibility you've been asked to take on?
