It's the right decision, he has made far too many incorrect decisions. Referees will get away with getting things wrong on the pitch, but when they are sitting in a nice warm room in front of 80" TV screens they are under increased pressure. If you watch multiple replays and still get it wrong you are going to be in trouble, and I would argue that is the right way to do it.
