Could well have been.
It's definitely three. The player who could possibly be have mistaken as receiving it was 5, the captain who was nothing to do with the incident.
This is a good example why a clear cautioning procedure is needed even if you're at a level where you can flash your cards
 
Think it is one of those that looks much worse on a still than real time. 3 couldn't have really complained had he seen red as he did lunge, but I was expecting it to look a lot worse based on the still images.
 
The still does look worse. Think all stills look worse initially but even in the replays the number 3 is literally off the ground completely and chops him from the front.
Very lucky with a yellow.
