3 passes later it's in the back of the net. Had that been a foul/offside/handball VAR gets involved. Why not for this?

Totally agree with you. Looks to me that both his feet are (just) on the ground at the moment of release. Certainly not obvious enough to call ... falls into the 'ugly but legal' camp for meWhats wrong with it?
Yet I have seen throw ins pulled up in PL with absolutely nothing wrong with them. Only that they were thrown slightly downwards.
