People must see something in Mr Kovacs that I just haven't been able to. Just never fills me with confidence, and if he has an early caution you just know he will end up well into double figures. In a Euros qualifier earlier this season the home team ended up with 7 yellows and 2 reds, and the away team 11 yellows, all in a game with only 25 fouls.

Hope I'm wrong and he has a great game, just not sure I'd be risking my flagship final on a referee with such a propensity for getting his cards out.

Good to see Felix Zwayer getting his chance again though I’m sure the press will bang on about the match fixing scandal.

Never sat well with me, punishing the erm, whistleblower, who told then authorities what was going on. Tainted forever for that, despite doing the right thing.
