    Promotions - Season Ending 2024

Did my 7-5 this year and I'm looking to get straight into the level 4 pathway starting in July.

Should have a word with him.

    Level 7

Yeah I referee across 3 FAs, not a problem

    Level 7

I know our step 5/6 league will let you on the line as a level 7. So might be worth exploring that if you are turbo keen. But the higher up the steps you go, the greater the expected travel. Guessing you've just turned 16, so you won't have a car, so you will be somewhat limited.

    Level 6 - much change?

https://www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/steps/steps-5-6/ Might be worth a look. Also: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_League_System Just for the geography

    Level 6 - much change?

Exactly as said. The league sorts it. The RA are usually a good place to ask around as they will have referees at every stage. If you post your rough location someone here can probably point you in the right direction to a step 5/6 league. I wouldn't expect a timely reply or much to be...

    Giving yellows

Hey George, Sorry to hear all that.

    Giving yellows

Yeah @george.g they work really well for me (so far). But there has been a quite a few threads on here, where the opinion is split. So I am not going to debate that as it is subjective for sure. I think ifab at my level would expect you to go for dissent over delay the restart (my opinion...

    Palace vs Man Utd

It is like a camera thing on his ear. Looked weird and sore hahaa

    Palace vs Man Utd

I mean United still have 4 games to play. They could mathematically finish 5th.

    Giving yellows

I don't get this logic. Typically sin binned players return with a different attitude. Sin bin is a good tool and in the mentioned situation probably the best suited tool. But just wanting to red players because you can find a way to justify doesn't sit right with me.

    Spectator Abuse

I think the party line is just zone everyone out and do not engage. If it escalates into the sort of abuse you mention get the Referee over. Just clear and concise, this has been said and I think this action is appropriate. Then raise it in a ER.

    Level 6 - much change?

I had a league secretary call me once the promotions came out to ask me to ref on his league. It is where the team I had been refereeing promote to. The fees and everything we're the same. Just slightly more driving and less availablity of games. In terms of being an assistant on the higher...

    Giving yellows

I personally would go for dissent so C2(SB). I think that is their main driver. They are undermining you with their actions. Attempting to take away your control. So I personally think it would be the easiest sell and the most correct in law. I highly doubt they are not giving your name to...

    Giving yellows

I've always seen people go for dissent by action, and din bin. I wonder what is the correct one here. Because you could argue delaying restart. But I think it is a sin bin.

    Blood pressure test

For some people passing this fitness test might push their heart to 95%+ of it's work rate capacity. So if you have any obvious preexisting issues going into the test, there is a chance it will be picked up by a blood pressure check (as others got picked up on above). Potentially saving a...

    Handball in leadup to goal

You definitely choose the path of least resistance hahaa You'd of been explaining it to the lads for 5mins. But absolutely no criticism from me as the guidance sucks. But I agree with @CaptainsPlease but I would also think time also. Like you mention 2 touches. If these were giant Bale...
