    Junior/Youth First game(s)

Agree with the first paragraph, the CAR didn't see it either based on what he said from a distance. I forgot to talk to them for game 1 but learned that lesson for game 2. Also agreed on the second paragraph, nobody really was that weird towards me so started to act normal over time 😭 Thanks for...

    Junior/Youth First game(s)

Finished the games, both quite different. First game finished 1-1, felt quite weird and awkward at first in regards to warming up, finding a place to store my bag, managed to put them on the parents side 🤣 One of the CAR's flagged for everything in the world, so I had to try manage it, parents...

Thanks :) Just wondering, is there anything you would you change your card for at this age? Like I'm not sure whether to give someone a card for delaying the restart at this age...

    Junior/Youth First game(s)

I've got two U13 games as a middle tomorrow, kinda nervous haha 😄 Just wondering what you guys do before a game, and specifically what you did before your first game. These are my first games so any tips or tricks would be much appreciated 🙃

    Getting back into refereeing

Did the course in Feb 22, and just registered for this season so I reckon everything should be fine? I've gone to my local youth league and let them know about the situation and they've said they'll get me games. Excited to be back! Also, I forgot about the youth classifications lol :)

    Getting back into refereeing

Hi guys, I haven't been on this site for ages but now since im 15 (turning 16 soon) I feel like it's the right time to consider getting back into refereeing, but I don't know how. Obviously most leagues have started, and I'm still a trainee referee but I'm not registered yet. Would I have to be...

    New Referee

Not really many cards at under 11s level, mostly clumsy fouls

    Homophobic language

And that's why telling them that it's wrong and they won't be able to play matches if they don't change that behavior is a good thing. If their brain isn't fully developed, let's aid that development.

    Spitting

I'd imagine when it has/would have made contact, or else spitting onto the grass would count as an offence, which sounds wrong.

    New Ref? Too old?

Definitely not too old. Many people take a refereeing course at late 30's/early 40's because playing careers are typically coming a close. For the second one, just ask a few local leagues or clubs, they'll be happy to help due to the shortage of refs.

Manchester City Women vs Arsenal Women

Not sure if you can see but if you can, does it count as commencing a promising attack? Genuinely curious because I would imagine it would considering the trajectory of the ball changes significantly. Thoughts?

Referee Award at the Ballon D'Or?

Just curious if you think there should be a Referee award at the Ballon D'Or, as the FIFA Referee of the Year award really has no notoriety/ isn't well known. I'm curious about what your thoughts would be on if it should/shouldn't happen and why. (also wondering if you think it'd make fans and...

    Low Card Count

It could just be because youth football is known to have more careless challenges than reckless ones. You don't see many under 8's attempting a malicious or dangerous tackle that often, so maybe it's just that you've had games with well-behaved players and coaches, which you should see as a good...

    Junior/Youth CARs age

I have no idea, but I'm assuming not considering that some people have been discussing this in another article. I was told that when I start I can only do U11 and below (3 years younger) but that was due to the league's rules so it may be different for other people.
