I think it was good refereeing but also could have been given as a HB. Think players were extremely lucky. Will probably be used as a clip for ref training in the future!

The only bit I really saw was the pen appeal at the end. Outstanding refereeing. If anything was a foul on the keeper. CL refereeing is really quite impressive.

If observed any RC or PK is considered a KMI. But it’s also something that we are expected to get right as referees. (However - if there is any doubt at all - you do have discretion - e.g. that really really fast defender that would have made it *cough*)

For KMI I think you have to. However, there are some things that you can have some wiggle room with. But if you want to climb the promotion ladder you have to dot the ‘i’s and cross the ‘t’s.
