    It better not be the rubbish that the ra were selling at the start of the season now, I bought a RA premium kit at start of season and the pockets are coming loose, the Velcro tab is unraveled and its rubbish material, maybe I've just been unlucky

    Yes, hunts FA been selling off remaining umbro stock cheaply in preparation for the new Nike gear, I like the refefee's kit, not like the diamond kit.

    Well, it's January and I've not done too bad at all, have stuck to juniors u12-14 and u16 academy matches as it fits in better with home life at mo, fitness still an issue, but really getting along fine now, looking at next season really to crack into the adult game.

    Done various matches at varying levels, did an academy match at u16's and blimey they gave me the run around! I'm seriously unfit! Grrrr it's gonna take a while till I get fit, it's quite depressing! Am enjoying it now though! A tip for all newly qualified officials, stick with it!

    United Counties League (i wish the champions league) had a chat with my rdo, he thinks im ready for the adult game, few assitant referee matches first, plenty of advice from the experienced refs and then a lower league match as ref being watched by a mentor..

    Hi guys, completed my 6 games and now a level 7 ref :) 2 at U15 and the rest at U12 , struggled badly with the U15's but settled down nicely and thought i did ok. want to go back to higher ages and to be honest adult football.. been asked and nominated to be an assistant linesman for the UCL...

    had my 3rd and 4th match last couple weeks, at U12 level and went a lot better, still the odd decision going wrong but getting a whole lot better.. and a whole lot better in dealing with annoying loud parents, and losing managers!!

    he missed it bless him as it happened behind him as he was turning around, he was in a good position just not facing the play as quickly as he could, though that would be a little harsh.. i know what its like with a parent/management backlash, i dont like it and im in my 30's so sod knows what...

    i think just the same, i dont think id send him off.. yet laws of the game states it'll be a send off.. id certainly would in U11 and above.. it was a really nasty spiteful kick, id never seen such agression from a 7 year old... id certainly wouldnt want to ref him when he was 14!!!

    didnt go as well as i hoped, i think i let the play flow a bit too much.. and lost control a bit in the first half, but i seemed to get into it the second half and got it under control i think, was really hard, and i had a lot of hassle off a club offical and without going into too much detail...

    yep it is in the pboro youth league, wanted to do a few youth games to settle in first before going into open age football..see how it goes.
