    VC v OFFINABUS

Not a chance I’m letting some idiot get away with 2x yellows after this. I would almost bet my mortgage that during his outburst he’s used some language that falls within OFFINABUS. Along with the actions that almost certainly are going to be abusive. You wanna threaten me pal then you can...

    Man Utd V Man City

“pretty close” If you’re going to argue then use terminology that relates to the LOTG. Were the defenders within playing distance of the ball at any point? No Did Rashford physically prevent them from playing the ball? No, they were never within range of playing the ball anyway The defenders...

    VC v OFFINABUS

If the player hasn’t actually committed or attempted commit an act of violent conduct then I’d be going OFFINABUS as the actions are clearly abusive. I’d also accompany this with an extraordinary misconduct report to give your county fa the correct context to the incident. Ensuring that you use...

    Man Utd V Man City

I agree that Rashford’s actions have an influence on the goalkeepers decision making. However, there’s no mention of that in the offside considerations in law. Had the defenders been within playing distance of the ball then I’d also accept the argument that he affected their ability to play the...

    Man Utd V Man City

At no point in the move are the Man City defenders close enough to play the ball. Rashford’s presence doesn’t alter the length of their legs.

    Man Utd V Man City

Depends on if that attempt is a challenge for the ball or not. Attacker stood in a few yards of space and the only one jumping for the ball then I’m going corner kick. However, if the attackers attempt to head the ball prevent/affects the defenders ability to physically play the ball then we go...

    KO’d

The use of “I was unconscious” was more out of humour than anything else. Took a blow to the head, knocked off my feet and a bit dazed is more accurate. If that happens in a step 5/6 game then I’m 100% taking a few minutes to compose myself and then decide if I’m continuing. The incident...

    KO’d

I took a clearance to the back of the head last season. Absolutely floored me, got up dazed and they were all down the other end of the pitch appealing for a penalty! 🤦🏻 “Sorry lads, I was unconscious briefly and missed it”

    Man Utd V Man City

What have the FA got to do with LOTG? In law the goal is absolutely fine. Whilst the law might not be perfect it’s not really something the FA can change.

    Barca v Espanyol 16 cards

I’m not a fan of Lahoz’s style but I certainly don’t have an issue with the penalty. Whilst accidental, Alonso has stood on the Achilles of the attacker and prevented him from jumping to head the ball. Intentional or not this is still a foul.

    Ex Pros becoming referees

This. He very briefly played non-league in Germany. 4th tier of their system. Started refereeing in 2002 and then played amateur football up until 2005 when he fully focussed on refereeing. Far from a pro career.
