    USA v Belgium kit clash

He/she can insist on a change of kit, they are likely at the ground probably the day before & 2+ hours before the match starts. England wore their away kit at Wembley v Uruguay.

    USA v Belgium kit clash

Quite incredible anyone signed this off or the referee allowed the match to start? https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxHMZVNZgM1EKbZ8VAZQQ6jE86dCsNk6tg?si=VlXPg72fqPLB6hlv

    England v Uruguay

Absolutely, doesn’t the signal of a corner resemble a ‘club’ official?

    England v Uruguay

This round of international friendlies seem to have been given to next level down from the Elite referees, this was a corner signalled by Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg. 🙈 https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx7Daz1qG4avhl7sgac-EcY53cSwWRNuBo?si=wo8-AnB1y4uwgumO

    England v Uruguay

I think if you watch it again, the whistle is quickly followed by the YC coming out of the pocket before any dissent can be given, he publicly rebukes Gimenez’s dissent & waves him away, there is little doubt the YC is for the foul. The live score websites are showing Gimenez YC 70th minute &...

    England v Uruguay

In the 70th minute, the YC was out of the pocket immediately after the foul on Palmer by Ugarte. Giminez dissent is because he sees the YC. These officials are making it up. Does show the merits of ‘slow the process down’, don’t flash cards.

    England v Uruguay

YC given for the foul on Cole Palmer in 70th minute on right wing. There is no question he messed up, he has given two YCs.

    England v Uruguay

He gave Ben White a YC for the foul for the penalty, after the lack of YC for some very late challenges from Uruguay.

    England v Uruguay

This is a ‘horror’ performance form referee & VAR here.

    England v Uruguay

Oh dear, missed penalty for grappling at a corner, now clearly two yellow cards for Ugarte!

    England v Uruguay

Wow lucky boy that was a deliberate foul.

    England v Uruguay

Interesting call if he had played on! Would have backfired as clearly he was hurt but he moved a long way to get back on to the pitch.

    Four Referee errors in March

I suspect more holding penalties may be given in the next few weeks particularly if you don't look at the ball? 1. Havertz penalty (5-0 penalty, 2-3 non VAR intervention.) Bit contradictory if 5-0 isn’t that C&O? https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx7zT_1XlcwNtHTxAlMhA2_H2HLvGiArv2?si=wc3ZLtL8-Rd4W_rc...

    Arsenal v Chelsea WCL

Chelsea Women fuming with this disallowed goal, do they have a case? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/crr1w0215r4o

    EFL Cup Final

I think, on Kepa, it is a clear ‘hold the whistle’, there is no rush here, it is being reported in the media as a bad error, which he will be disappointed about. Good learning for us all, you always have more time than you think.

    Bournemouth vs Man United

If VAR had recommended review for Man U penalty, & Ref had given it, Ref would have had to disallow a Bournemouth goal, would that be a EPL first? IMO, give both or don’t give either… but easy to say after the event.

    Leeds v Sunderland

Interesting, clear foul but ‘would the ball have reached him’ criteria not met? https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxLG2T0Xip9L39kj_tjJQJ-CQAyVxn51uk?si=ZoSSSn5odCv-LPJ3

    Portsmouth Vs Derby

For me referee should be more game aware, the two attackers moved towards the GK to prevent him releasing it.

    AFCON Final

I think a better scenario would be to ban Senegal from the next AFCON, strong message without impacting on the completed final.

    UEFA VAR reset

Good news, hopefully some good to come out of this, if they can agree? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cly6993wn64o
