Sounds like the FA are repeating the errors of the 1990's, where they want fit referees and thought they could teach them to be good referees. Left us with Durkin and Riley as our top referees - not a good sign. Yes, fitness is vital but ability is so much more needed.

Should you use cards for U12's and below - Yes, but depends on the offence. The players have idols in the EPL, so do understand about Red and Yellow cards. We should not refuse to use them just because they are "little children". They want to play like their hero's and be treated as proper...

Yes, you have to report to the league. If it was on Full Time, it would show as unplayed. They may have forgotten to advise the league (so fine there) and you could have been assigned another match (unlikely, but possible).

For all the comments, I think the blue card for SPA is a great thing. Too often (in the top level) we have seen teams trying to get the breakaway only for them to be deny by a cynical foul in the final few minutes, resulting in a YC and meaningless free kick. A SPA will now mean effectively...

No you can't. You remain a Youth referee until your 16th birthday. Also, you are not allowed to officiate at open age matches until you are 16 (per SCOR).
