In my home county: Hampshire FA does not publish a single fixed referee fee schedule on its public site; match fees are set by the relevant competition (league or cup) and are typically paid per match, with travel expenses added, and vary by FA grade and competition level Makes sense to me.

Leagues at that level have started the season, and were aware of this already. Clubs have to identify the Under 18's on the team list (usually only 1 or 2 per team at Steps 5 and 6) before the game. Not a big issue, and avoids U-18's walking round the perimeter past the opposing neanderthals/fans.

A referee I worked with last week told both coaches prior to the match that he would not want anyone going off for a minute when uninjured, so don't shout "Ref, Ref, head" every time someone goes to ground. That worked (with two sensible coaches🙂)

True, but if the referee decides that a player has delayed the restart of play they can implement the 60 seconds.

I haven't got access to the "Fixture Search" facility so far this season. I can enter the competition name, but not dates. It also doesn't give me access to club details. All of that was available last season. I have reported it to MOAS but no reply yet.

Make sure before the game that the coaches know that a player is going off if you stop play or have to delay the restart. Encourage them not to scream "Ref, Ref!" because a player is down injured/possibly injured. Cooperation is mutually beneficial😁

Law 5 allows you as the referee to decide whether the restart has been delayed. In this instance, perhaps not necessary to make the player go off(?) The referee . . . stops play only if a player is seriously injured and ensures that the player is removed from the field of play. An injured...

How long was the delay to the restart?

Take the belt and braces approach - inform the FA case officer of the facts, but copy in your County FA as they will wish to contact the club.
