Yep, must be. Mentioned in the other thread that it was good to see a foul throw given in the epl

    Man City Vs Tottenham

Was good to see a foul throw given as well. Can’t remember the last time I saw that in an epl game

    Aldi value VAR

Surely they're gonna need a sh*tload of referees and ARs if they have VAR for each game in the EFL (I assume you mean EFL not EPL). 3 referees per game (middle, 4O, VAR) and 3 liners per game (2AR, AVAR). Where is the manpower coming from? Is it feasible that they could have VAR officials...

    Newcastle vs Aston Villa

Wall seems to be somewhat in line with penalty spot and trippier is taking his free kick just inside the D, so the villa players should be pretty much alright. Newcastle players seem quite close to the villa wall tho

    One extra player

No league tables at this age group, it isn’t competitive. Subbing off a player means one less kid is playing rather than one more kid playing when allowing an extra person on the pitch

    Injury Time

Agree that stop clocks aren't the holy grail, but as the data shows you're losing 30 mins a game most of the time, the current format ain't working. Especially when Rupert Murdoch wants as many eyes on the game as possible

    Injury Time

Bit of a tanget, but here is an interesting stat with regards to the time the ball spends in play at the highest level: . The ball was in play for just over 60 minutes on average, the highest average in the premier league, but it is incomprehensible to add on 30 minutes. I personally think a...

    Palace V Liverpool

I'm surprised that Paul Tierney is getting so many high profile games this year, especially after his 'controversial' decisions in the Liverpool vs Man City and Spurs vs Liverpool games this season

    Southampton vs Man City

Not seen either replay, couldn’t tell about the penalty but the challenge on Laporte looked naughty from the away end.

    Southampton vs Man City

Thoughts on the challenge and Laporte? Also, both VAR checks took a long time, and as well as frustrating fans, they seemed to stop City’s momentum as they were both in quick succession.

Whats up with different pay per match? Frankly at the moment it looks further south you go better pay.

There's at least one OA league in Manchester has a £45 flat fee for a middle

    Grassroots Interview

Just seen the following video on Twitter, skip to 23:50. Some want SG referees to be interviewed after games, but it seems strange for a referee to be giving interviews after a grassroots game. Would anyone volunteer to give an interview?

    West Ham v Leeds

Are you not a member of the elite? Pretty sure you recently said on another thread that you had a top flight game in front of 16,000.
